Well, it's my birthday today. I usually have fun on the weekend *before* my birthday, but the actual birthday usually sucks, and it depresses me. This year is no exception. No celebration. No precious 15 minutes of attention. My only birthday present was finding out that my idiot buyers for my house managed to ruin their credit in two weeks and can't get financing.
Sigh... My birthdays always suck. And yes, I am throwing myself a whiney, self-indulgent pity-party, but I don't care. I'm busy hating life right now.
Update: Lovely. I actually tried to schedule a lunch today with a few friends from the office - something I had to do myself. That's now fallen apart as well as nobody wants to/is able to attend. You see what I'm saying? My birthday is cursed.
Update 2: gish took pity on me and went out to lunch with me. How sweet ;-)
